Fuerza Dual Language Elementary School

Kennewick, WA

Fuerza Elementary is the first dual language school in Kennewick School District. The location of this school was the former Desert Hills Middle School, which Fowler performed the demolition for (Fowler was also awarded the construction of the new Desert Hills - be sure to check that page out!) Thirty classrooms with an enlarged gym and additional specialist and office space. The design was based on the new Westgate and Amon Creek elementary schools. This new 2-story project started with the middle school demolition by another contractor, which ran behind schedule. Fowler then came in to take over, adjusting the schedule to successfully open the school in the Fall of 2018.
